'On another subject, 'Onetwo' (aka OMD's Paul Humphries & Propaganda/Act's Claudia Brücken) will be performing a very special show at London's Madame JoJo's in Soho on Thursday 1st June as part of London's premier electro club night 'Electrogogo'. They will be showcasing some of their upcoming long-player 'Instead', as well as playing versions of some classic OMD, Propaganda & Act songs. Philip and Chris will also be assisting the duo on stage on additional keyboards. Tickets are just £5 in advance, £6 at the door. Doors open at 9pm and the quartet will be on stage at 11pm.
Onetwo will also be headlining the Wave Gotik Treffen Festival in Leipzig, Germany on Sat 3rd June, again with Philip and Chris. More info at http://www.wave-gotik-treffen.de/ - the legendary Nitzer Ebb are also playing their first reunion gig at the festival.'

More on Onetwo @ Leicester Cathedral
Tickets for Onetwo's performance @ the Castle Park Festival 2006 @ the Leicester Cathedral will go on sale on the 3rd of April for the fan base of Onetwo (Propaganda/OMD) only, the festival's manager told me. The general public will get their chance from the 17th and onwards, two weeks later. The Cathedral holds 350 people, so tickets could be scarce come August...

Infantjoy has just released their debut album Where The Night Goes on Sony BMG. A mini-tour accompanies the release at this very moment.

Been listening to Infantjoy's Where The Night Goes for lots of times now, and how beautiful their musical frame for a night is!!
It's a journey from dusk till dawn, translated in one hour of music, divided in 12 pieces.There are electronic sounds, sampled voices and breaks, and there's a classical piano.The sounds are almost like atmospheric disturbances, like the unidentified noises late at night on the radio after all broadcasts have ended, accompanied by a warm and soothing piano. A bit melancholic at first, reminiscing the past day, then hopeful, awaking to a new tomorrow and a fresh new day. Erik Satie is heavily involved. And there’s this beautiful cover of David Sylvian’s Ghosts, although a bit too clearly sung -for my taste- by Sarah Nixey.
It’s rougher, it’s more experimental and it got so much more soul, if you want me to compare it with AoN. Imho Paul Morley has taken himself quite a few steps further from the Debussy album, and that’s exactly why I like Where The Night Goes so much. A breathtaking journey!!
